ooh er! I'm in Firefox, and the blue navigation boxes are indeed across the top. All except for the Search box, which now seems to be a Google search box saying <"google" custom search>, with a press button below it. When it returns a search, instead of a nice list of abc tunes in notation...

The new style search facility

Hi Chris,
Call me an old stick-in-the-mud, but I don't like the new tune-search thingy as much as the old one. I found the old one much easier to see whether a result was the one I wanted. Is there some advantage to the new one?

If you are using quotes for comments rather than for chords, then the rules (briefly) are this.
"^comment" = above the stave
"_comment" = below
"<comment" = to left of note
">comment" = to right

Hi Chris,
According to the ABCedit website, that program will also play the tune and transpose it, which your chart isn't showing at the moment.

Hi Mike, abcm2ps normally makes automatic decisions as to where to place any given note, and usually that's fine. But you can over-ride this for bits of the tune as you've done. But easier still, you can force a voice to stay on one clef throughout, whatever the notes, by specifying the clef in the ...
