Re: aABC - ABC Browser/Player for Android

It was working fine on phones and also on tablet. Besides, many users paid for this app, so it would be fair for them to be still able to use it after a while ;) Could you please resend it on the market as it was? As the app was protected, we couldn't save it and reuse our archive so it's forever lo...

Re: notation on htc hd2

Try this:

I can't find a screenshot with the staffs, so I'm not sure it's possible to display music with this, but http://abcnotation.com/software says it does.

Re: abcjs - a new feature for the forums

it looks really great, and I'm sure it will be useful for talking about tunes here. I'm also installing it on my website, do you know if it's possible to resize the score ? On my website it looks wider. (it's also not so wide when using the editor instead of the plugin). Well, I'm testing the tune h...

my scores

I don't know if this section is for advertising projects or discussing about how to make scores with abc, but I think ABC is really conveniant for making such classical scores, and here is an incomplete score of some renaissance songs : http://anamnese.online.fr/site2/abc/susato_ps.abc (pdf version ...

Re: esclinux projet: linux livecd and repository

Yes you can use java applets on Linux (I can play Runescape too on my computer), you can also play flash games or video. For browsing other websites, it shouldn't be a problem, as long the websites are not supporting microsoft only technologies (silverlight, activex, windows media video and such). B...

Re: The definitive abc standard

I'm using both abcm2ps and abcmidi which are fantastic tools, so I vote for abc plus, if it's possible to get a standard from those definitions.

Re: experimenting with fonts and characters

I don't think abc supports unicode, otherwise you could use them directly into your lyrics, so you can't use those unicode symbols into the abc online converter. (and I can't display them into this forum either...) The other way to go is to use abcm2ps and fontforge to create your extra symbols. You...

rss / promoting this forum on the abc mailing list

Hello, There is a thread on the abc mailing list about this forum : http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/abcusers/message/1940 Someone pointed out "there's no way to receive messages from the official forum without visiting it (an RSS feed would help there)" It's possible to enable some rss ...

Re: What is your favourite abc software?

maybe the previous votes are wiped out when adding a new entry, so it's more fair for the newcomer entry. About editing posts, it's usually a good thing to allow this so we can correct mistakes and typo, in case someone modify the post after the reply, there is a warning about this ("last modif...
