stemless black noteheads

This kind of notation is often used in musicology for metre-less music:

Does any ABC software support it?

If so how do you specify it?

Hi Jack,

If you put a 0 (zero) after the note name that note will be stemless. Try

G0 A0 B0

If you use quarter notes as the basic length (L:1/4) this works fine. If you have beamed eighth notes the beam is left hanging in space. I didn't check with detached eighth notes.

It does work and displays in EasyABC just fine.
