I don't know if anyone can help me with this, please? For a piece of music I am transcribing into ABC, total faithfulness to the original, I need to use the marcato ^ symbol (to signify that the note is played somewhat louder or more forcefully than a note with a regular accent mark ) . I've searched through the ABC standard with no luck (I may have missed it of course), and also tried defining it as U: m="^^" but again this hasn't worked. (I am using ABCexplorer 1.6.1 at the moment). Before I just use the regular accent mark (which may well be what the originally scribe meant anyway), does anyone know if it is possible to use a marcato sign in ABC, please? (And apologies if I'm being dense and it is more obvious than it seems)

Many thanks,
