Gracenotes

Postby piobaire24 » Sat Feb 27, 2010 10:43 pm

I was wondering if there is a way of notating two gracenotes, joined by a beam, but have different lengths, e.g. demi-semi-quaver and quaver?
I am using abcm2ps under linux.

Thanks,
Geoff

Blimey - I've never seen that notation used! Is it for a specific instrument or genre?

Hello Geoff,

I know this is an older post: But yes: This is easy.

From your screen name, I think your a piper? So, if you were wanted to notate a D-throw that is heavy/long on the low G:

{G4dc}d2

would show a tradtional D-throw but with sing bar on the low G.
