IMO 2.0 is far better suited to be the standard than abcplus.
* The abc 2.0 draft much more resembles a standards document compared to the abcplus documentation. The abcplus documentation reds more like an instruction manual, which can be nice for beginners, but is more problematic for implementers and experts.
* abcplus is too closely tied to the requirements of certain programs. This can burden implementors of abc-based tools (e.g. having to be able to include eps files in graphical output).
