H:Pelle Fors (Petter Magnus Johansson) was born in Ukna, Småland, in
H:1815, but lived most of his life in Rönö, Vikbolandet,
H:Östergötland. He died there in 1908. He learnt to play the fiddle
H:from Johannes Lång from Långserum, who in his turn had learnt from
H:Klockare Söderlund from Yxnerum. Pelle Fors was a shoemaker and
H:fiddler, and played at weddings and other dances.
N:This is a typical even polska. Bar 4 of the second part has an extra beat.
