B:William Egan music manuscript collection (1831, p. 67).
N:Nothing is known of Egan, although tune titles in the copybook
N:suggest a New England, perhaps Connecticut, provenance.
N:I'm not sure if Egan meant the tune to be played with one sharp.
N:Other 'A' mode tunes in the ms. are also set in one sharp, but were
N:more likely played in the minor key (i.e. no 'f' sharp)
