N:Found in the 1844 music manuscript collection of musician Thomas M. Kernan,
N:a native of Cranley, near Edgeworthstown, Co. Longford. However, Kernan spent
N:most of his life in the vicinity of Drumlish, County Longford. The Leonard/Kernan
N: manuscript, which is in the handwriting of Thomas Kernan, Michael Leonard,
N:and others, was found in Abbeyshrule, in the house where Thomas Kernan’s pupil,
N:Michael Leonard, lived.
