N:Potts was a flute player from Kiltra, Co. Wexford (near Carrig-on-Bannow), who moved to
N:Coombe in Dublin's Liberties around 1891 to work at Guinness.  While in Dublin he learned
N:to play the uilleann pipes. John was the grandfather of Chieftains whistle player Seán Potts',
N:whose father was also Seán Potts.
