N:107.  An Ríl Cam [The Crooked Reel]:  The song Follow me down to Carlow is
N:of course sung to this air.  O'Neill has two settings, Follow me down and
N:Follow me down to Carlow (O'N i, 547 and 988). Goodman calls it Miss
N:Murphy (G ii, 156 and G iii, 182).  It is also played as a jig [e.g., as a
N:single jig in CRÉ II, 84].  In Scotland it is called Bonnie Annie.  It is
N:printed in the "Glen Collection of Scottish Dance Music" (i, p;23), from a
N:collection by Dow published c.1775. Aird also printed it (iii, 548). [from
N:Sonny Brogan, accordion][Breandan Breathnach, translation by Paul de Grae]
