N:Transcribed by John Hartford from the playing of Texas Shorty, who, as
N:a teenager, learned the tune from Eck Robertson in Amarillo, Tx., where
N:he and his father used to go. Eck lived on the main road. Shorty learned to
N:tune the fiddle down from him.  Eck hollered on this tune. He also taught
N:Shorty "Pretty Polly Ann" [John Hartford].
N:Transcribed by John Hartford from the playing of Jim "Texas Shorty" Chancellor.
N:AEac# tuning (fiddle). Finger notes in transcription as if fiddle was in standard
N:tuning.
