T: Editorial note: This is an almost illegible piece at the end of RVW's collection from around Hadleigh in Suffolk.
T: It is upside down, as if the collector just seized his book to dash off a notation in a hurry.The first part of
T: the tune, however, is extremely familiar, since it is clearly the basis of the third theme in the composer's
T: "Wasps" overture. Some of the variations are conjectural interpretations.
